Upcycled Handmade Yarn Skeins Stash Busters!

What to do with all that yarn! Left overs from previous projects, partial skeins....you know what I am talking about! They are everywhere! Well today I decided to spindle spin 6 strands of my 'stash', and upcycle them into beautiful, super bulky yarn. I spun 2 strands at a time and then spun 4 strands together and then 6 strands together. It is a one of a kind yarn! The texture is fabulous and it's eco-friendly! I think it would make a lovely scarf or small basket. The skein ended up with 75 yds of shades of blues and pink.

I then found some super colorful yarns and decided to spin them together. The yarn turned out absolutely beautiful! This yarn has 6 strands also. The colors work together so well. This skein ended up at 56 yds. Another great way to thin down my 'monster stash'. What shall I make with this yarn? I'm thinking maybe a gypsy, boho layered scarf...or perhaps an ear warmer....who knows what it will be! What would you make with it?

So grab a spindle and some 'stash yarns' and upcycle them into a one of a kind yarn! And when people comment on your creation and ask where you got the beautiful yarn? you can say, "I made it myself!"
